A Él

Ðayna L. K.

A chant I wrote using Quenya last spring for one of my Rhy'Din Role-Playing characters. I'll admit it, there are LOTSA mistakes in here, not to mention I could not find all of the words I needed so I had to make a few up. Hehe, in otherwords, don't use this as an example for correct Quenya usage.

It's suppose to be a chant to the goddess Él (Star). Her followers are called the Éldar (People of The Star), NOT to be confuzzled with J.R.R. Tolkien's Eldar (the Elves that lived across the Sea). They are VERY different. I know, my bad for making them so similiar.
